Yesterday (Tuesday, 14 August 2012), Yudhistira dan Yehuda presented their research proposal for their final task (Skripsi). Their research proposal was about “Synthesis of Fe3O4/C composite as an anode material for lithium-ion battery”. The Fe3O4 nanoparticles will be prepared by electrooxidation of iron in water. Then, the nanoparticles are mixed with sucrose and carbonized under N2 environtment. The electrochemical performance of the composite will be evaluated by cyclic voltametry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The presentation started at 10 until 10.40 a.m. The reviewer were Prof. Sugeng Winardi, Ir. Minta Yuwana, MS. and Ir. Winarsih. Now they are ready to conduct experiments on the topic.
