Sunday, 17 March 2013 – After working hard for the proposal seminar and plant design exam, we took a trip to the tea plantation at Wonosari, Lawang and the Jambu Luwuk Resort and Hotel at Batu. We left from ITS at 07.00 a.m. by bus. This trip was aimed to make us closer, like a family, so that we can work well as a team in laboratory.

The traffic in that sunday morning was crowded but the bus still could run although slowly. The route to the Wonosari tea plantation was very narrow and uphill. We arrived at about 09.30 a.m. Then, we took a tour and hike around the tea plantation. The air was very fresh that made us relax. This place is a good place for contemplation. After dhuhur prayer, we continued our trip to Batu.
Batu is about 40 kms from Wonosari. When we arrived at Batu, it was a hard rain. But the bus driver was very skilfull so that we could arrived at Jambu Luwuk safely. By using umbrella we got off from the bus to Hotel. We had lunch at the hotel. After lunch, we were escorted by the shuttle bus of the hotel to go around. The scene was very beautiful.
At 05.00 p.m., we left for Surabaya and arrived ITS safely at about 08.00 p.m. This trip will be a good memory for all of us.
