Prof. Heru Setyawan received an Excellent Poster Award in the 18th Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering congress (APCChE 2019) held in Sapporo, Japan, on 23-27 September 2019. The poster paper that received the award entitled: Metal-free electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction reaction from coir fibers. The work was prepared by Mar’atul Fauziyah, Widiyastuti, and Heru Setyawan. Mar’atul Fauziyah is a doctoral student in our laboratory.
Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering (APCChE) congress is organized by one of the confederation member societies every two years. The first APCChE was held in 1975. APCChE 2019 was organized by the Society of Chemical Engineers Japan and attended by more than 1800 participants from 33 countries. The number of paper presented was around 1500 (oral, short communication, poster) in total, in which the number of poster presented was around 800. The theme of 2019 congress is Chemical Engineering for Sustainable Development Goals (CHE4SDGs).
